Solar Super Flare Frequency Revised: Article in “Science”

This article, mentioned in https://www.spaceweather.com: December 14, 2024, TITLE: “SUPERFLARES ON SUN-LIKE STARS:” and accessed through a pay wall at https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/science.adl5441  presents a revision to the estimated super-flare frequency that is consistent with our suggestion that a very large solar flare on the order of Peratt’s articles in IEEE Transactions, 2003, 2007 plays a role in a technology retrogression back to the generation before the Gunpowder Revolution.
