Welcome to my blog!

My name is Ed Barrett, co-author with the late Tom McCall, ThD, to The Swords of Ezekiel. Thank you for visiting my blog about The Swords of Ezekiel.  What you see in our book is the end result of a bit more than fifteen years’ worth of off-and-on literature searches, study and writing  (by both Dr. McCall and myself) – not to mention the insights that come with many years’ experience in science, technology and the military. I hope to share some of that interest and insight with you here.

I’ll be using this blog to interact with you about The Swords of Ezekiel, expanding on some of the topics in it and posting some of the ideas related to our book. This blog is a good starting point for you to get to know more about how Dr. McCall and I reached our conclusions, and the expectations that I have going into the near-term to mid-term future.

I’m looking forward to getting to know you: What did you think of The Swords of Ezekiel? What questions do you have for me?  Do you expect that our book will have any impact or effect on your life such as where to live? and so on….

A note regarding the tone of this blog:  I have had enough of the “hair on fire” type of exegesis (study and explanation, interpretation) of Bible prophecy.  Moreover, the narrative as Tom and I have presented it; if it does come to pass as we believe it eventually will, may not reach its climax for the better part of a generation from now.

Finally; a word to the wise:  This blog is a public forum; do not post personally identifiable information about yourself, or anyone else; no doxxing; no personal attacks on anyone or institution and no threats against anyone or institution of any kind.  I acknowledge that this subject has become volatile.  If this blog cannot be maintained in a civil manner, it will be closed.
